Did anyone notice besides me how Arquette’s hair distracts from her fabulous acceptance speech as Best Supporting Actress in Boyhood?

I’m not being picky – this beautiful and talented professional deserves this moment of attention – and her hair gets in the way.
Take away for you: As professionals – whether female or male – keep your hands away from your face and hair when communicating, presenting, leading, talking at a meeting, networking, or having a business meal. Don’t detract from your message, your image, your gravitas.
