One Powerful Selling Secret

by | Apr 12, 2022

Do you want more business without spending a single penny?

Follow the policy of ProVisor’s Dallas 4 Group.

This morning I spoke to this power group of senior professionals about how to communicate like duct tape. Before my presentation this group does what many do… introduce new members, embrace guests, review updates. And then, they added a unique twist.

Powerful selling secret

This group spends 30 minutes doing testimonials… of each other. The rules are:

  • Talk about the other person, not yourself.
  • Share why the person was of value to you.
  • Thank the person… publicly.

Why testimonials count as a selling technique

  • You are highlighting the strengths of the other person and their business.
  • You are sharing your own business successes in a subtle way.
  • You are promoting a collaborative environment and how you work well with others.

How does this selling secret apply to you?

As executives look for ways to praise others. You might start your zoom meetings with testimonials.

Praise = Empowerment.

Empowerment = Continued success.

Testimonials cost nothing and have huge rewards for your company and you.
