Summertime and Your Creativity

by | Jun 15, 2012

Karen got in her pool for the first time in 10 years —  and found she had more creativity for her upcoming speeches by laying on a raft; than by sitting at her desk staring at her computer screen.

Ideas for added creativity this summer:

1. leave your office
2. take a walk
3. enjoy the extra sunshine
4. take a friend to Starbucks for a Frappacino
5. talk to the person next to you in line at the movie kiosk
6. visit someplace fun in your city that you’ve never been
7. go to a museum (in Dallas the first Saturday of the month is free)
8. read a book for fun not on an electronic device (unless it’s Karen’s books now available on the Nook and Kindle!)
9. cook something you liked when you were a kid
10. cook something healthy
